Normal Heights, California

A neighborhood in the mid-city region of San Diego, Normal Heights gets its name from the State Normal school, which is the predecessor to San Diego State University. The State Normal School building now serves as the central office for the San Diego Unified School District, and is known as the Eugene Brucker Education Center. Normal Heights is known for its affordable pubs, coffee houses, antique shops, book shops, and a growing arts community. Normal Heights' borders are defined by Interstate 805 to the West, Insterstate 8 to the North, Interstate 15 to the East, and El Cajon Boulevard to the South. Normal Heights is more generally located in San Diego's hills above Mission Valley.

Residents of Normal Heights frequent the Madge Bradley Courthouse for their probate case needs. The Madge Bradley building is located on 1409 Fourth Avenue in downtown San Diego.
